12.13.09 Games Canceled

Update: Looks like Shades Cahaba is also unplayable. Open play is now going to be held at Crestwood Park at 1p.m. See you there.

Sorry to announce this, but due to the never ending rain today's games have been canceled. The higherups are working furiously to determine when and where we'll be able to make these games up.

Currently Open Play is scheduled for 2p.m. at Shades Cahaba for those who still want to get a little muddy.

Week Five Results

While this is technically the fourth week of games, due to the rainout two weeks ago it is on schedule with the fifth week. This means that after the new year (jan 3rd), we'll then play the scheduled games for week four. Got it? It doesn't matter really matter - there's not much that can be done to alter the outcome of this season anyway. Eight Ballin' is running away with it and apparently there is nothing anyone can do to stop them.

A few interesting side notes:(1) Besides the black team there is only one other team with a winning record.(2) Due to the parity of the league, the last place team could feasibly be tied for third place if everything works out just right next week. (3) Cap'n Murph and His Sassy Wenches is the only team name that lacks a color reference and/or obvious puns.
