Formal request to get a new playing location besides JPK since they do not have lights. Especially since I play there 4 out of the 7 weeks and I am driving from Tuscaloosa. Just sayin.

Your request has been heard and when you find feilds that are not being used for little league baseball or soccer please let me know and i will book them. or if you would like to fork up the money to get the lights fixed that will work too.

A simple your request has been heard would have sufficed. I am not trying to be rude, but I do drive from Tuscaloosa every week and JPK is the furthest field away. It adds to my inconvenience that JPK does not have lights. I very much enjoy playing in BUDA summer league, but I hate to feel as if my Thursday nights and fifty dollars are wasted due to this. Maybe if the fields request is over the top we could reschedule some of the games for my team. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

I don't think she was trying to be rude either. It seemed like it was more of a challenge.

I mean I was expressing a general concern and was hoping for a help instead of a help yourself type response that is all.

Dane I was not being mean. We did not know that someone had cut the lights at JPK when we scheduled games there. We have called an electrican about it but we have to wait for Shades Valley to tell us how to proceed. IF we had another option for fields we would reschedule the games but for now we do not.
As for your payment $20 of it goes to your shirt, $4 of it to your disc, the rest goes to fields, insurance, fields for midsummer and end of season, port-o-potties, and food for tournaments.
As for your drive if games start at 6:00 at JPK you will still have time to fit in the 2 - 50 minute games that you are scheduled for before it gets dark.
BUDA has worked really hard to make this season fun for everyone. It is just unfortunate that some a-hole cut the lights and stole the wire from JPK. Something we had no control over.

Lee Ann thank you. I just wanted to know that at least someone was attempting to make an effort to find some new fields or getting the lights fixed. That sounds great. I just played at JPK last week and the games started at 6 and by the last half of the second game it was becoming very difficult to see. I understand that it is hard and I do not know all of the intangibles that go in to finding fields or the difficulty since I am not from Bham nor am I very familiar with Bham. I just want to get the most out of my drive each week and thought I would see if anything could be done. I apologize if I came across as coarse in any way. Thank you.
