Week 8 Standings

We have a new leader as of Week 8. Mustachio Pistachio comes from 3rd to bump off Brian's Fire in the Regular Season Standings. This is the first week that Brian's Fire has NOT been in first place.

Other notables:

Sweet Pink made a huge jump from last week putting themselves right outside of the top 8 teams.

Token has made it 8 straight games without a loss

Grite remains unbeaten since before the MidSummer Tournament.

Toxic Sushi finally claws its way out of last place.

Sparkle Motion snaps a multi-week losing streak

Orchid Orgasm wins both it's games in a week for the first time since Week 1.

The Red Rockets are by far the most stylish team in the league, sporting hats designed by yours truly. If you haven't seent them yet, I will make sure I turn mine backwards before we play your team. That way you can get a good look at it while you are chasing me to the disc.

Giang's own daughter betrayed he and Kirstin by cheering for the super stylish Sweet Pink team. And you guys were mad at me for picking that color out? Come on.

This week, the competition was stiff for MVP, but after hearing the story, this week's MVP has to go to Lauren Tong, slasher of familial ties and recoginizer of superior style. Originally brought to the field to cheer on her parents' team of Giang's Last Stand, little Lauren became enamored with the Sweet Pink Delicious jerseys and switched her alliance. Giang and Kirstin, unable to cope, ended up losing the game 11-4, and contributed to Sweet Pink's meteoric rise up the leaderboard from 12th to 9th place.

Congratulations Lauren. Something tells me you might not be invited to join your parents for EOS, so if you're reading this, follow your heart and never listen to what your parents tell you.

EDIT: due to a captain (DENNIS) submitting late MVP Votes, they were not included. Those not pictured: Austin Guthrie, Jimbo Tucker, and Kate Gaston.

EDIT 2: Due to my being an idiot, I forgot to submit my own teams MVP nominations: Sammy Raviv, Tyler Lewis and Jason Yearout
